چکیده
Constellation-to-ground coverage analysis is an important problem in practical satellite applications. The classical net point method one of the most commonly used algorithms resolving this problem, indicating that computation efficiency significantly depends on high-precision requirement. On basis, improved cell area-based proposed paper, which a as basic analytical unit. By calculating accuracy area partly contained by ground region or covered constellation, accurate can be obtained accordingly. Experiments simulating different types problems are conducted, and results reveal correctness high method.

Capacity Provisioning and Failure Recovery for Satellite Constellations
| This paper considers the link capacity requirement for a N N mesh-torus network under a uniform all-to-all traÆc model. Both primary capacity and spare capacity for recovering from link failures are examined. In both cases, we use a novel method of \cuts on a graph" to obtain lower bounds on capacity requirements and subsequently nd algorithms for routing and failure recovery that meet these ...
متن کاملMultiple Agent-Based Autonomy for Satellite Constellations
Multiple, highly autonomous, satellite systems are envisioned in the near future because they are capable of higher performance, lower cost, better fault tolerance, reconfigurability and upgradability. This paper presents an architecture and multi-agent design and simulation environment that will enable agent-based multi-satellite systems to fulfill their complex mission objectives, termed Obje...
متن کاملTcp via Satellite Constellations
Many Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) versions have been proposed for terrestrial wired networks over the Internet Protocol (IP), e.g. Tahoe and Reno. TCP/IP is being studied to overcome its limitations within the satellite medium and to allow its efficient use in hybrid terrestrial/satellite networks. So far studies have been mainly directed to the use of Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) con...
متن کاملRadar Satellite Constellations:
We discuss the use of radar satellite constellations, or clusters, for wide-area, high-resolution SAR. These systems are composed of multiple, formation-flying satellites with each satellite having its own, coherent receiver. Increased swathwidth compared to that of traditional SAR is attained by processing the data obtained from multiple satellites. The multi-channel system can also be scanned...
متن کاملRouting Issues for Leo Satellite Constellations
We present diierent issues of routing in LEO satellite constellations. The nature of the problem itself needs further explanations. The exact market of these systems lets many questions open, although some models have been advanced. The structure of the ISLs vary from one design to another and impacts signiicantly the optimization. The movement of the satellites also gives to the system a dynam...
